This is the first studio album from Tangerine Dream since bad diagnosis in 1995. Lead single “Catwalk” and “Birdwatcher’s Dream” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Birdwatcher’s Dream is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Little Blong In the Park of Attractions has a fun tempo. Living in a Fountain Pen without a doubt is the standout song of Tyranny of Beauty. Charming song, great melody. In Bride in Cold Tears Tangerine Dream is at his best. Haze of Fame is possibly the best song Tangerine Dream has come up. Tyranny of Beauty is beautiful, yet underrated track. Largo - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem.
