I’ve found myself listening to The Hoochi Coochi Coo back to back and back many times. That’s How Strong My Love Is still maintains something of a specific flourish. Down Home Girl is the most memorable and astounding. Stranger In My Own Home Town is a song to enjoy for years to come. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Taj Mahal is one of artists that allow his songs like I’m Ready to stand on their own and be heard. I Can’t Help Myself (Sugarpie Honeybunch) is a strong cut, one of many.
