After debuting at No. 1 last week, Switchblade Symphony’s album Serpentine Gallery falls to No. 2 with 623,000, a sales slide of 85%. Jim Jones has compared writing for Switchblade Symphony’s new album to that on ‘Serpentine Gallery’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Switchblade Symphony energies, virtually a rebirth. This is one of Switchblade Symphony best albums
Dissolve (4:32) a good melody. Wallflower is pretty funky and mellow. Wrecking Yard is one of these floating songs. Clown - I just love it. A unique and uplifting song. One listen to the sheer beauty of Doll House was all I needed. Sweet very upbeat. The sound in Gutter Glitter is really warm and Switchblade Symphony’s signature voice is still very much present. Serpentine Gallery couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Mine Eyes. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly.
