This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Swamp Terrorists. Since completing 1994’s ‘Get O. (Lp Mix)’, Swamp Terrorists fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Swamp Terrorists’s debut, ‘The Get O. CD1′, does not fit easily into one genre. Overall, I would highly recommend The Get O. CD1 CD.
I have all of Swamp Terrorists’s tracks and Brainfuck (Cut Mix) is probably the most his introspective effort. Get O. (Wasted) is nothing but pure genius. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Get O. (Venal Plank) because the melody in the chorus is so good. Jerks Ever Win (Rator Mix) (5:52) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Get O. (Frisco Dump Mix) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Get O. (Profane Mix) is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. In Jerks Ever Win (Dub) you won’t find any flashy solos. Get O. (Virus) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Get O. (Psychedelic Surrounding) is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
