It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Suicide Commando energies, virtually a rebirth. It’s natural for Suicide Commando to take a stab at ‘Critical Stage’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. This is the first studio album from Suicide Commando since bad diagnosis in 1994. I wish that “Critical Stage” album was instrumental.
Sheer Horror gets you up and jumping. Suicide Commando sings H.I.V. + in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Suicide Commando. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Blew our minds when we first heard Time. Fate (4:38) a good melody. Necrophilia is a excellent song and it grows on you. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Where Do We Go From Here - This one is lively and fun. So much energy, so exciting a sound. The Dreamhouse (Mental Version) is beautiful, yet underrated track.
