It has been fourteen years Storm’ last studio CD, “Nordavind” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. IF YOU LIKE ALL Storm’S SONG GO FOR IT! fourteen years ago, Storm briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Innferd”. I wish that “Nordavind” album was instrumental.
The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Lyrics of Lokk are precise and evocative. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Nordavind is Mellom Bakkar Og Berg. I listened to the opening track Nagellstev and liked it a lot. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Noregsgard is my favorite song on Nordavind. Oppi Fjellet is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Utferd is a very catchy tune. Villemann is just simply stunning.
