I am not a real Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Sky Is Crying’ really is amazing. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble has. Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Chitlins Con Carne
One listen to the sheer beauty of Chitlins Con Carne was all I needed. Close To You - arguably the best track on The Sky Is Crying album. Empty Arms - My least favorite song on this album. Life By The Drop is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released so far. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Little Wing. May I Have A Talk With You is another strong production from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. So Excited is pretty funky and mellow. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Wham is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track.
