Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Steve Roach on ‘World’s Edge’. This twelve-song debut EP shows the promise that Steve Roach has. For older fans World’s Edge will put a massive smile accross your face. Exciting stuff.
The Call is a fine track on any terms. Steel and Bone gives taste of what makes Steve Roach special as a musician. The sound in Undershadow is really warm and Steve Roach’s signature voice is still very much present. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Beat of Desire is a excellent sing-along. Glimpse - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. First time I heard Thunderground was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Falling, Flying, Dreaming is a perfect song and it grows on you. Drift is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. To the Threshold of Silence is one of my favorite songs by Steve Roach.
