Since completing 1995’s ‘Passage One’, Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Ron Sunsinger fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
East Kiva (Calling In The Midnight Wate) is the first taste of the new album. This is one hell of a track. A great put together song. Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Ron Sunsinger sings Passage Three in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Ron Sunsinger must have run out of lyrics on the next track West Kiva (Sacrifice, Prayer and Visions). Passage Four is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. After few listenings I started to like North Kiva (Trust and Remember) more and more. The Center make listening to Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Ron Sunsinger like being in some sort of time warp.
