When you buy a Steve Coleman and the Metrics album, you know exactly what you’re getting! After debuting at No. 1 last week, Steve Coleman and the Metrics’s album A Tale of 3 Cities falls to No. 2 with 955,000, a sales slide of 55%. Thom Yorke has compared writing for Steve Coleman and the Metrics’s new album to that on ‘A Tale of 3 Cities’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I wish that “A Tale of 3 Cities” album was instrumental.
One listen to the sheer beauty of I Am Who I Am was all I needed. Science is another strong production from Steve Coleman and the Metrics. Get Open is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Slow Burn is the most memorable and amazing. Left to Right is a amazing, simple song by Steve Coleman and the Metrics at the top of his game.
