This disc has all of the essential Stereolab classics. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Stereolab. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Stereolab’s album Ping pong falls to No. 2 with 483,000, a sales slide of 81%. Ping pong is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Moogie wonderland is simple, dignified and effective, Stereolab refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Ping pong. Transona five (live) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
