On Digital Entrance album, Stefan Erbe have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. four years ago, Stefan Erbe briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “The Cosmopolite”. Stefan Erbe had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Such great and happy songs.
Some of the arrangements found on Digital Entrance are surprisingly edgy. Changing Colors rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. The Reality Of Playing Wargame is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Synthetic Love is one of the more up-tempo songs on Digital Entrance. The sound in Simulated Moonquakes is really warm and Stefan Erbe’s signature voice is still very much present. For Motion And Emotions catches attention immediately, In Artificial Rain it becomes nowhere more obvious that Stefan Erbe has yet to define own style. Opening track Cosmic Pinball shows the best of Stefan Erbe. I like On Tv because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Cultures Of Electronic Art is nothing but pure genius. Countdown great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Stargazing is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. I find myself hearing bits of Exit here and there throughout my waking hours. Wake Up… is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever.
