Stakka Bo’s debut, ‘Supermarket’, does not fit easily into one genre. For older fans Supermarket will put a massive smile accross your face. After seeing Natural, I had to have a good Stakka Bo cd. One of Stakka Bo’s best albums yet.
Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Some of the arrangements found on Supermarket are surprisingly edgy. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Happyman is simple, dignified and effective, Stakka Bo refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Everything have really caught my ear and imagination. Down The Drain (3:36) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Under Direction is simply gorgeous. Living It Up is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. We is one of these floating songs.
