Now signed to Stackwaddy’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Stackwaddy-Bugger Off” leads Stackwaddy’s back-to-school campaign. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Stackwaddy’s album Stackwaddy-Bugger Off falls to No. 2 with 502,000, a sales slide of 74%. ‘Stackwaddy-Bugger Off’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is my first Stackwaddy Album and i must say i am blown away.
Bring It to Jerome is the most memorable and excellent. Mothballs is outstanding work of Stackwaddy. Voice of Stackwaddy in Sure Nuff ‘n Yes I Do is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Love Story. Nice and different song. Country Line Special is a very catchy tune. Rolling Stone is the albums biggest surprise. Mystic Eyes - A strong beat. Kentucky one of the best in my collection. Rosalyn - A nice song. This is one hell of a track. The sound in Hoochie Coochie Man is really warm and Stackwaddy’s signature voice is still very much present. It’s All Over Now is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Stackwaddy breathes new life into the music in Several Years (Foxtrot). I like to sing along with You Really Got Me, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Put I’m a Lover Not a fighter into car stereo for your highway driving Once you hear Meat Pies ‘ave Come But Band’s Not Here Yet, you will listen to it over and over. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is It Ain’t Easy because the melody in the chorus is so good. Long Tall Shorty (Mainly) - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Still going through Stackwaddy-Bugger Off and coming to appreciate Repossession Boogie more and more with every listen.
