This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Speedy J has. G Spot isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. While no new Speedy J album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Africa. Such great and happy songs.
Extruma (4:57) - awsome. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I hope to keep hearing Speedy J works for a long time to come. Lanzarote is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. The Oil Zone is one of these floating songs. Treatments is a strong cut, one of many. Fill 17 - This one makes me want to not only sing along. I have all of Speedy J’s tracks and G Spot is probably the most his introspective effort. Grogono is the first taste of the new album.
