This is the first studio album from Sparks since bad diagnosis in 1994. On Indiscreet album, Sparks have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album has some very good songs like Hospitality On Parade and Happy Hunting Ground. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Happy Hunting Ground is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Without Using Hands is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Get In The Swing is one of the coolest songs Sparks has ever recorded. Music in Under The Table With Her is gorgeous as in all tracks of Indiscreet. How Are You Getting Home ? rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Pineapple is Sparks’s best work in years. Tits actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Sparks’s face. It Ain’t 1918 is probably the most interesting track on Indiscreet. The Lady Is Lingering is the most memorable and astounding. Sparks must have run out of lyrics on the next track In The Future. Within the first few notes of Looks, Looks, Looks it’s perfectly clear that Sparks is living this song. Miss The Start, Miss The End - Sparks first major hit. Profile - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. After few listenings I started to like I Wanna Hold Your Hand more and more. One listen to the sheer beauty of England was all I needed.
