After debuting at No. 1 last week, Soundtrack - Various Artists’s album Priscilla, Queen of the Desert falls to No. 2 with 784,000, a sales slide of 53%. After seeing I’ve never been to me (Charlene), I had to have a good Soundtrack - Various Artists cd. When you buy a Soundtrack - Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is what good Soundtrack should be.
Go west (The Village people) is probably the highlight of the album. Soundtrack - Various Artists is hitting on all cylinders in Billy don’t be a hero (Paper Lace). A unique and uplifting song. I love the nightlife (Alicia Bridges) to me is the best you can get from Soundtrack - Various Artists. Some of the arrangements found on Priscilla, Queen of the Desert are surprisingly edgy. I will survive (Gloria Gaynor) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. A fine romance (Lena Horne) - This one is lively and fun. This is one hell of a track. I don’t care if the sun don’t (Patti Page) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Priscilla, Queen of the Desert have ended. Finally (Ce Ce Peniston) (4:07) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Mamma mia (Abba) is outstanding work of Soundtrack - Various Artists. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. All of songs on Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and have something to say letting alone I love the nightlife (mix) (Alicia Bridges). Go west (mix) (The Village People) is the first taste of the new album. Soundtrack - Various Artists sings I will survive (mix) (Gloria Gaynor) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Shake your groove thing (mix) (Peaches & Herb) gives good insight into the truths. I love the nightlife (Alicia Bridges) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually.
