This is the first studio album from Soundtrack - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 1995. Soundtrack - Various Artists had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. When you buy a Soundtrack - Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! I Love Blade I from start to finish!
I like Things Ain’t The Same - Kasino because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Gangsta Bounce - Wolfpak is a very catchy tune. In Fightin’ A War - Down 2 Earth Soundtrack - Various Artists is at his best. In 12 & 12 - Gang Starr you won’t find any flashy solos. I can’t stop playing Dealing With The Roster - Junkie XL. Dig This Vibe - DJ Krush stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Still going through Blade I and coming to appreciate Playing With Lightning - Expansion Union more and more with every listen. Voice and instruments in Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix) - New Order complement each other. Wrek Tha Discotek - Roger S. is another favourite of mine. Once Blade - KRS-One gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Blade 4 Glory - Majesty is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Simple and heartfelt closing track Reservations - P.A. closes Blade I on a high note. This is one hell of a track. Strictly Business (Mantronik MBA Radio Edit) - Mantronik Vs. EPMD to me is the best you can get from Soundtrack - Various Artists.
