When you buy a Sopor Aeternus album, you know exactly what you’re getting! On the Thailand charts, superstar Sopor Aeternus’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Sopor Aeternus. If I may, I suggest “Travel On Breath”. That one song is amazing!
All of songs on Ich Tote Mich and have something to say letting alone Falling Into Different Flesh. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. In Tanz Der Grausamkeit Sopor Aeternus spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I listened to the opening track Im Garten Des Nichts and liked it a lot. Time Stands Still one is one of the better boring ones. One listen to the sheer beauty of Do You Know My Name was all I needed. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Penance and Pain, which shows, blatantly, how much Sopor Aeternus has evolved as a singer. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Holy Water Moonlight because the melody in the chorus is so good. Beautiful Thorn has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. The Feast Of Blood makes a person feel cool. Dark Delight is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Sopor Aeternus offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Birth - Fiendisch Figuration have really caught my ear and imagination.
