I am not a real Indie music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star’ really is amazing. Sonic Youth had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album has some very good songs like Winner’s Blues and Bull In The Heather. If I may, I suggest “Winner’s Blues”. That one song is amazing!
After you’ve listened to Bull In The Heather, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Starfield Road is a fine track on any terms. Skink as a highlight of Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star contains a ton of exquisite melodies. Music in Screaming Skull is gorgeous as in all tracks of Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star. Bone is almost impossible to review. Sonic Youth sings his heart out in Androgynous Mind. Quest For The Cup is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Waist is one of the best records ever. Doctor’s Orders - Check out that bassline! This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. In The Mind Of The Bourgeois Reader is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Sweet Shiner gives good insight into the truths.
