This album has some very good songs like Dirty boots and White kross. Dirty Boots isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It has been nine years Sonic Youth’ last studio CD, “Dirty Boots” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Dirty Boots is not something you should pass up.
This track is clearly meant to showcase Sonic Youth’s vocal abilities. Eric’s trip has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Cinderella’s big score is amazing song though, very addictive. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Sonic Youth. The bedroom is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined.
