Son House Delta Blues and Spirituals MP3

Son House Delta Blues and Spirituals imageSince completing 1995’s ‘Monologue - The B-L-U-E-S’, Son House fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There were many famous songs of Son House available. Self-described as Blues with lots of words, Son House comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is one of Son House best albums

All of songs on Delta Blues and Spirituals and have something to say letting alone Between Midnight and Day. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. I love the melodic melody of Levee Camp Moan and to this day it makes me feel good. This Little Light Of Mine is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Death Letter Blues - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. How To Treat A Man motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Grinnin’ In Your Face is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. I can’t stop playing John The Revelator.
