For older fans Lamentations will put a massive smile accross your face. There were many famous songs of Solstice available. There is so much to love about Solstice, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. If you want to hear real Metal, get this record now!
In Neither Time Nor Tide you won’t find any flashy solos. Only the Strong is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. I have all of Solstice’s tracks and Absolution Extremis is probably the most his introspective effort. The sound of These Forever Bleak Paths is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Solstice sings his heart out in Empty Lies the Oaken Throne. Solstice breathes new life into the music in Last Wish. Wintermoon Rapture - arguably the best track on Lamentations album. The Man Who Lost the Sun - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Ragnorok - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Solstice.
