Sly and the Family Stone was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Sly and the Family Stone and Fresh together. When you buy a Sly and the Family Stone album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Fresh carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is my first Sly and the Family Stone Album and i must say i am blown away.
If You Want Me To Stay is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. In Let Me Have It All the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Frisky - A nice song. In Thankful N’ Thoughtful full palet of sound is used by Sly and the Family Stone to accentuate the presentation. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. I believe I Don’t Know (Satisfaction) is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. You have to get essence of the Keep On Dancin’’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) very upbeat. If It Were Left Up To Me - A classic Sly and the Family Stone track. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Babies Makin’ Babies.
