Skinny Puppy had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Skinny Puppy was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Skinny Puppy and 12” Anthology together. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Skinny Puppy’s album 12” Anthology falls to No. 2 with 694,000, a sales slide of 95%. 12” Anthology is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
From the moment you listen to The Choke (Re-Grip Version) you’re hooked. Addiction (First Dose) - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Deep Down Trauma Hounds (Remix) is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on 12” Anthology is Chainsaw. Skinny Puppy emotions are reflected through Assimilate (R23). Stairs and Flowers (Def Wish Mix) is a striking and quite long song. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in 12” Anthology. The song feels complete.
