Hate isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On Hate album, Sinister have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Sinister on ‘Intro’. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Awaiting The Absu without a doubt is the standout song of Hate. Only one song from Hate named Embodiment Of Chaos really got me. Art Of The Damned pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Unseen Darkness - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Sinister. I loved 18th Century Hellfire the first time I heard it. To Mega Therion is one of the more up-tempo songs on Hate. It’s such an underrated song. In The Bloodfeast Sinister is at his best.
