IF YOU LIKE ALL Shinjuku Thief’S SONG GO FOR IT! The Scribbler is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Since completing 1992’s ‘The Assessor’, Shinjuku Thief fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. The Scribbler is not something you should pass up.
Stepping From Routine is one of my favorite songs by Shinjuku Thief. Blue Octave Notebooks great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I hope to keep hearing Shinjuku Thief works for a long time to come. Proceedings is a song to enjoy for years to come. When listening to Lips Of The Guilty, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. A Promise And A Lecture makes a person feel perfect. An Awful Autumn still maintains something of a specific flourish. Excellent vocals and musical performances. The Fabric Of Guilt is a strong cut, one of many. The Invisible Architect is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Only one song from The Scribbler named Paynes Grey really got me. I listened to the opening track The Parable and liked it a lot. Vogelfrei I & II - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites.
