Since Shelter last CD (Mantra) on ForeFront Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Shelter had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. seven years ago, Shelter briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Letter To A Friend”. Another great offering from Shelter.
This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Surrender To Your T.V. is just simply stunning. Mantra can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Shelter is all about. Musically Chance is superior to other tracks in Mantra. Not The Flesh - To me, this is the best song on the Mantra. Empathy is really the reason why I recommend buying Mantra. The sound of Appreciation is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Here We Go - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Civilized Man presents the perfect mix of instruments on Mantra. Message Of The Bhagavat on Mantra is solid and easy to listen to.
