It’s natural for Shekhar Sen to take a stab at ‘Track 1′ considering her long-professed love for Godsplague. ‘Instrumental Innovations From India’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Instrumental Innovations From India isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Shekhar Sen is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Track 2 can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Shekhar Sen is all about. Shekhar Sen must have run out of lyrics on the next track Track 3. Track 4 is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Track 5 is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. Vocals of Shekhar Sen in Track 6 really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Track 7 pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
