Lead single “My Cherie” and “‘Til Death Do Us Part” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like My Cherie and ‘Til Death Do Us Part. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Sheena Easton’s album My Cherie falls to No. 2 with 960,000, a sales slide of 98%. Overall a nice softer song. All I Ask Of You has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Sheena Easton’s strong vocals come to the fore. In Flower In The Rain full palet of sound is used by Sheena Easton to accentuate the presentation. I find myself hearing bits of You’ve Learned To Live Without Me here and there throughout my waking hours. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. My Cherie couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Please Don’t Be Scared. Next To You is probably one of Sheena Easton’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Dance Away The Blues is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. Crazy Love is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
