Shankar had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Shankar. When you buy a Shankar album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Raga Aberi touched my soul like nothing else.
Raga Aberi: Beginning Pallavi - another great track from the Raga Aberi album. The opening track Raga Aberi: Middle Pallavi is very much like you would expect from other albums. I like the idea behind Raga Aberi: Percussion Improv. Raga Aberi: Percussion Section + Finale defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. I love the melodic melody of Raga Aberi: Entire Percussion Section Plus Finale and to this day it makes me feel good. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. First time I heard Raga Aberi 2 was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
