It’s natural for Sentenced to take a stab at ‘The War Ain’t Over’ considering her long-professed love for Madonna. While no new Sentenced album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in South America. After seeing The War Ain’t Over, I had to have a good Sentenced cd. Amok constantly brilliant.
First time I heard Phenix was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.New Age Messiah has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Sentenced’s strong vocals come to the fore. Forever Lost is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Funeral Spring on Amok is solid and easy to listen to. I can’t stop playing Nepenthe. Dance On The Graves (Lil’ Siztah’) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. This is one hell of a track. The Golden Stream Of Lapland one is one of the better boring ones.
