Selena Live carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Selena energies, virtually a rebirth. This is the first studio album from Selena since bad diagnosis in 1993. To me Selena is the best band ever.
La Llamada is a astounding sing-along. No Debes Jugar has a fun tempo. Selena allows each song to breathe and flourish. La Carcacha / Besitos is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Blew our minds when we first heard Porque Le Gusta Bailar Cumbia. Si La Quieres is a marvelous song and it grows on you. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Ven Conmigo / Perdoname is a very catchy tune. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Amame, Quiereme / Siempre Estoy Pensando En Ti from the beginning to the end. Como La Flor / Baila Esta Cumbia is the most memorable and cool.
