Lead single “Soul And Fire” and “Two Years Two Days” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. ‘Bubbles And scrape’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Since Sebadoh last CD (Bubbles And scrape) on ForeFront Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album is in perfect progression from Sebadoh!
Two Years Two Days has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Telecosmic Alchemy is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This is one hell of a track. I like the agression and power of Happily Divided. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Cliche is the albums biggest surprise. Sacred Attention is beautiful, yet underrated track. Elixir Is Zog is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Emma Get Wild is the albums biggest surprise. It’s such an underrated song. Homemade motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Forced Love is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. No Way Out is Sebadoh’s best work in years. Bouquet For A Siren good vocals. In Think (Let Tomorrow Bee) the music gets its power. I like the idea behind Flood.
