Now signed to Scrooge’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Scrooge - (1995) Happy What Else” leads Scrooge’s back-to-school campaign. It’s natural for Scrooge to take a stab at ‘Hit the Pig’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. IF YOU LIKE ALL Scrooge’S SONG GO FOR IT! Scrooge - (1995) Happy What Else touched my soul like nothing else.
Polka is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Autumn Song is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Shhh - I just love it. Three Pence has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Milena Jesenska is a marvelous song and it grows on you. Found a Flat - a classic song. Earthfake is the first taste of the new album. Monster - Check out that bassline! Excellent vocals and musical performances. I believe Sad and Sick Waltz is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. Ein is perfect. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Leben is absolutely incredible. ist is simple, dignified and effective, Scrooge refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Happy What Else?.
