After debuting at No. 1 last week, Saxon’s album Dogs Of War falls to No. 2 with 714,000, a sales slide of 50%. ‘Dogs Of War’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Saxon’s new album to that on ‘Dogs Of War’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Saxon ever.
This song may be the most meaningful. Don’t Worry - I like this one. I loved Big Twin Rolling the first time I heard it. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Dogs Of War couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track The Great White Buffalo. Demolition Alley is Saxon’s best work in years. Walking Through Tokyo is beautiful, yet underrated track. Give It All Away - To me, this is the best song on the Dogs Of War. The opening track Yesterday’s Gone is very much like you would expect from other albums. In Solid Ball Of Rock the music gets its power. Great White Buffalo still maintains something of a specific flourish. The Eagle Has Landed is the funkiest number on the album. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Such hits like Can’t Stop Rockin’ will leave you hooked.
