There is so much to love about Satyricon, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Satyricon was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Satyricon and The Shadowthrone together. I am not a real Metal: Death,Black music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Shadowthrone’ really is amazing. This album is awesome.
The King Of The Shadowthrone is the first taste of the new album. Opening track Dominions Of Satyricon shows the best of Satyricon. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Satyricon. Woods To Eternity makes a person feel marvelous. In The Mist By The Hills is a fine track on any terms. Hvite Krists Dod - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem.
