Surrender: The Unexpected Songs carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Lead single “Surrender” and “Unexpected Song” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Sarah Brightman’s debut, ‘Surrender: The Unexpected Songs’, does not fit easily into one genre. Enjoy the show.
Such hits like Unexpected Song will leave you hooked. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. I listened to the opening track Tell Me On A Sunday and liked it a lot. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Once you hear Macavity- The Mystery Cat, you will listen to it over and over. In Gus- The Theatre Cat Sarah Brightman spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Piano is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Everything’s Alright - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Surrender: The Unexpected Songs. Some of the arrangements found on Surrender: The Unexpected Songs are surprisingly edgy. Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. The Music Of The Night is cool song though, very addictive. It took me a little time but I ended up loving The Phantom Of The Opera.
