There is so much to love about Rondo Veneziano, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Lead single “Inconto” and “Canto D’Addio” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I am not a real Classical music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Magica melodia’ really is amazing. Exciting stuff.
Canto D’Addio one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Orion is one of the best records ever. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Simple and heartfelt closing track Controcanto closes Magica melodia on a high note. Damsels is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Barocco actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Rondo Veneziano’s face. Estasi Veniziana one of the best in my collection. Larmes De Pluie is perfect and different song. Gentil Tenzone is one of the more up-tempo songs on Magica melodia. Venezia Lunare is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Rever Venise motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. I love the melodic melody of Magica Melodia and to this day it makes me feel good.
