Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Rocio Durcal comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is so much to love about Rocio Durcal, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Rocio Durcal was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Rocio Durcal and En Concierto Inolvidable together. This album is a scorcher!
amor eterno is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. There is cool mix of music in eres unico. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. sombras…nada mas very upbeat. como tu mujer is the most memorable and excellent. I can’t stop humming along porque te quiero. infiel which is my favorite is a truly Rocio Durcal sounding song. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. As always, Rocio Durcal’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. de que manera te olvido is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. luz de luna is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. si nos dejan is the song that really did it for me. como han pasado los anos is probably one of Rocio Durcal’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. jamas te prometi un jardin de rosas defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. obertura is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.
