Since completing 1990’s ’siempre estoy pensando en ti’, Rocio Durcal fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Canta A J.Gabriel Vol.2 is not something you should pass up.
ya no vuelvo a molestarte is a very catchy tune. It took me a little time but I ended up loving ayer murio. tu abandono is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Canta A J.Gabriel Vol.2 have ended. se me olvido otra vez is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. nunca es tarde is the albums biggest surprise. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. lagrimas y lluvia one is one of the better boring ones. me gustas mucho is a marvelous song and it grows on you. la muerte del palomo as a highlight of Canta A J.Gabriel Vol.2 contains a ton of excellent melodies.
