Lead single “Eikos Shaman - Land” and “Isidro’s Song - Land” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After seeing Eikos Shaman - Land, I had to have a good Robert Mirabal cd. ‘Land’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. To me Robert Mirabal is the best band ever.
The opening track Isidro’s Song - Land is very much like you would expect from other albums. Yuta’s Song - Land - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Robert Mirabal has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. White Buffalo - Land is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. I love the melodic melody of Masa-Yume - Land and to this day it makes me feel good.
