Richard Clayderman’s debut, ‘The Love Songs Of Andrew Lloyd Webber’, does not fit easily into one genre. It’s natural for Richard Clayderman to take a stab at ‘The Phantom Of The Opera’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. John Digester has compared writing for Richard Clayderman’s new album to that on ‘The Love Songs Of Andrew Lloyd Webber’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
The Music Of The Night (5:29) a good melody. Strong, powerful vocals of Richard Clayderman in Love Changes Everything are very impressive. High Flying Adored - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Seeing Is Believing is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. All I Ask Of You is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. I find myself hearing bits of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina here and there throughout my waking hours. Another Suitcase In Another Hall is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Richard Clayderman released so far. Tell Me On A Sunday - I just love it. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Memory - a classic song. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit.
