Since Ricardo Arjona last CD (Dejame Decir Que Te Amo) on Sparrow Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. Ricardo Arjona had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Self-described as Latin with lots of words, Ricardo Arjona comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I Love Dejame Decir Que Te Amo from start to finish!
This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Ladron is worth the money. Vocals of Ricardo Arjona in Monotonia really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Ricardo Arjona must have run out of lyrics on the next track Por Amor. Romeo y Julieta is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Se Ha Ido el Amor sets the tone for the entire album. I like the idea behind Vete Con el Sol. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
