For older fans Zwischen Zurich und Zu Haus - Live (CD2) will put a massive smile accross your face. Self-described as Chanson with lots of words, Reinhard Mey comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Since Reinhard Mey last CD (Zwischen Zurich und Zu Haus - Live (CD2)) on Blue Note Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Enjoy the show.
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Du Bist Ein Riese, Max. One listen to the sheer beauty of Der Unendliche Tango Der Deutschen Rechtschreibung was all I needed. 51er Kapitan is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Die Kinder Von Izieu is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Zwischen Zurich und Zu Haus - Live (CD2). Selig Sind Die Verruckten - a classic song. Meine Freundin, Meine Frau is simply cool. Best song on the album, love it. Leb Wohl, Adieu, Gute Nacht is really a nice song to relax and listen too. I find myself hearing bits of Das Etikett here and there throughout my waking hours. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Uber Den Wolken is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Ohne Dich - My least favorite song on this album. Das Kleine Madchen is almost impossible to review.
