IF YOU LIKE ALL R.Clayderman and James Last’S SONG GO FOR IT! Lead single “From a distance” and “Sacrifice” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since R.Clayderman and James Last last CD (Serenaden) on Virgin Records back in 1991, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Song Sacrifice is actually a funny song. Once you hear Moonfire, you will listen to it over and over. The sound of Lizzie is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Careless Whisper is astounding. Maracaibo I just LOVE this mix! Super Dreaming Day is excellent and different song. Wind beneath my wings is a bit different from R.Clayderman and James Last stereotypical stuff. Indigo bay (4:02) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Overall a nice softer song. Chancer has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Wind from the East is probably the highlight of the album. Candle in the wind as a highlight of Serenaden contains a ton of cool melodies. Summer serenade is new, fresh, and hypnotizing.
