I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Ray Conniff Interpreta 16 Exitos de Manuel Alejandro’ really is amazing. Lead single “Cuando Tu No Estas” and “Como Yo Te Amo” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It’s natural for Ray Conniff to take a stab at ‘Cuando Tu No Estas’ considering her long-professed love for Gridlok. Last Hot Album by Ray Conniff
Como Yo Te Amo is almost impossible to review. Manuela - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Ray Conniff is hitting on all cylinders in Soy Rebelde. Detenedla Ya gets you up and jumping. After about the third Los Amantes listen through, I began to believe this song is Ray Conniff’s essence. Album opener Te Estoy Queriendo Tanto is a bright, upbeat ditty. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Hablame Del Mar Marinero. Voy A Perder La Cabeza Por Tu Amor is another favourite of mine. Although Dueno De Nada is very melodic it is far from sad. After few listenings I started to like Paloma Brava more and more. Que No Se Rompa La Noche can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Ray Conniff is all about. Yo Soy Aquel is another strong production from Ray Conniff.
