It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Randy energies, virtually a rebirth. After seeing Humanalogism, I had to have a good Randy cd. Since Randy last CD (There’s no way we’re gonna fit in) on Sparrow Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Nothin’ more Than Everythin’
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Nothin’ more Than Everythin’. From the moment you listen to I’m such a warmhearted person you’re hooked. The itch you can not scratch is the more seemingly obscure song on There’s no way we’re gonna fit in that bear up best to repeated listening. In Religion, Religion Randy is at his best. Take’em where you cant get’em had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Randy is one of artists that allow his songs like The Guide to Outrageous Drinkin’ to stand on their own and be heard. Realitypified is a good listen every once in a while. More of that miserable misery on There’s no way we’re gonna fit in is solid and easy to listen to. Education for Unemployment is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Whatever is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. 12 Cans is marvelous work of Randy. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. I can’t stop playing T-Minus 5 Seconds. Shovel that Snow is so unique, as each one of the songs is. I won’t concede I won’t give in still maintains something of a specific flourish. It’s such an underrated song.
