This is the first studio album from Randy Roos since bad diagnosis in 1995. There is no doubt that Randy Roos has talent. This is one of the best Cd’s Randy Roos has dropped to date. Enjoy the show.
Black Elk is the song that really did it for me. Randy Roos has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. I came to like Craftman’s Prelude. Voice of Randy Roos in Chameleon’s Dance is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. I have all of Randy Roos’s tracks and The Craftsman is probably the most his introspective effort. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Randy Roos. Some of the arrangements found on Primalvision are surprisingly edgy. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Music in View From The Summit is astounding as in all tracks of Primalvision. Ancestor’s Reprise one is one of the better boring ones.
