This album has some very good songs like Dusk and Bat Dance. On Between Dusk and Dawn album, Rabih Abou-Khalil have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There is so much to love about Rabih Abou-Khalil, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. One of Rabih Abou-Khalil’s best albums yet.
I loved Bat Dance the first time I heard it. Nightfall is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Rabih Abou-Khalil allows each song to breathe and flourish. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Between Dusk and Dawn. The Thing That Came Out of the Swamp is one of the best records ever. I have all of Rabih Abou-Khalil’s tracks and Dawn is probably the most his introspective effort. And Finally…The Oasis motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others.
